New Partnership is Company’s First Beyond Metro D.C.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Washington, D.C. – Flex Academies has announced that it will expand into Connecticut this coming Fall. The company, which provides afterschool program management, will initially launch in schools in Fairfield County, Connecticut, says CEO Joseph Olchefske.
“Because of our successful launch in the D.C. area, Flex believes that there is a similar need for improved management of afterschool programs in a wide variety of communities across the country,” Olchefske stated.
He added, “To our knowledge there is no other company that has Flex’s capabilities to deliver safe, secure, high quality programming to schools on a regional or national basis, so we believe Flex can be of great service to hundreds, if not thousands, of schools over the next few years.”
Olchefske indicated that Flex Academies saw that Fairfield County had “a very strong tradition” of active PTAs that had been managing afterschool programs for many years, so Flex was “a natural next step” for that community. He also noted that the partnership with Flex provides local vendors with opportunities to expand their networks, making the arrangement a winning one for all involved.
Flex Academies plans to work with every school and school district to make sure that the afterschool programs will reflect the preferences and interests of each community. What will not change, says Olchefske, is Flex’s commitment to providing fun, engaging, high quality activities to students in a safe and secure environment.
Parents in Fairfield County should expect to hear about Flex Academies from their PTAs in late August or early September.
