Flex Academies Partners with Vendors to Provide Afterschool Activities

Flex offers local vendors new ways to get involved in their community.

WASHINGTON DC, (November 15, 12) – Flex Academies, a trusted turnkey after-school program management company for PTAs, offers vendors a platform and the tools to promote their business in their local community.

Flex Academies has worked with over 50 vendors and partnered with two middle schools, Westland and Lakelands Park, and one elementary school, Sligo Creek, all in Montgomery County, Maryland. “Working with Flex Academies has provided my business with an opportunity to be a part of our local community and help improve the health and fitness of kids,” says Jake Westhoff, owner of Fitness University, who is running programs at all three locations. “I have also grown my fitness business – I see that as a win-win for all.”

Flex Academies also looks to help vendors get the word out about their business. “When it comes to the vendors building their business outside of their afterschool activity, working with Flex Academies offers a chance not just for exposure but for direct experiences with the community that can build a clientele,” says Joshua Chernikoff, Flex Academies’ CEO. “The partnership we establish with the vendors creates a relationship with the community that provides them with potential clients.” Through their connection with Westland, Fitness University has plans to start a boot camp for parents and increase their 1-1 training of young athletes.

It is sometimes difficult for vendors to find appropriate locations to carry out their business. Flex Academies connects vendors with schools who can benefit from their services. “I didn’t have to do anything to find a location. This allowed me to focus on the main goals of One-on-One Basketball, such as promoting our brand of basketball and of course, teaching the game to the kids,” said Brett Issacson, area director for One-on-One Basketball in Maryland.
